In the fall of 2005, a small group of dedicated Arabian Breeders united under the guidance of Chris and Paula Anckersen, and acquired the magnificent young stallion, Marhaabah.
The son of revered U.S. National Champions *Marwan Al Shaqab and Shalina El Jamaal, Marhaabah's pedigree is most impressive, a result of combining many of the breed's most influential breeding animals and nationally successful show horses. Marhaabah's pedigree is highlighted by respected individuals including *Ali Jamaal, Bey Shah, Bey El Bey, Ruminaja Ali, Fame VF+, Kajora, Gazal Al Shaqab, *Bask, Little Liza Fame, Parys El Jamaal, Kaborr+++, Gdansk+, and Aza Destiny, many of the breed's most significant producers of National winners.
Marhaabah is realizing his destiny as he embarks on his own breeding career and show ring appearances. His excellence was acknowledged in 2007 when Marhaabah won at the prestigious Arabian Breeders World Cup Show in Las Vegas, and culminated the highly successful show season by being named the 2007 United States National Champion Futurity Colt !
It takes much more than just being a great colt to earn the accolade of being named U.S. National Champion Futurity Colt. It takes an aura of futuristic quality that transcends the present and expresses the extreme importance of the future. On that exciting fall evening in the New Mexico City where "Kings" are crowned ... the brilliance of Marhaabah was strongly evident. The three circles of greatness when breeding Arabian horses are looped in the past, the present, and the future. The past is loudly proclaimed with the names and accomplishments of many of the greatest in the history of the Arabian breed. The future is filled with volumes of quiet anticipation and great expectations. The present is the aura encircling this magnificent young stallion. This aura of greatness and promise link the past to the hope, expectations, and fulfillment of the future.
In 2009, Marhaabah made his highly anticipated return to the National spotlight, and among many of the breed's brightest stars, Marhaabah captured the title of U.S. National Reserve Champion Junior Stallion.
It is evident in Marhaabah's offspring that these foals consistently possess their sire's elegance, charisma, and upright stature. The exquisite type of the Marhaabah offspring is appreciated by International breeders as well, and Marhaabah currently has get in 13 countries around the world. We congratulate the success of these young Marhaabah offspring in the show ring and we look forward to continued success in show arenas around the world.
